Despina has collaborated to the design and launch of the new postgraduate course MADAS – Master in Data Science for Complex Economic System offered by the Collegio Carlo Alberto (www.madas.carloalberto.org)

The program is quite unique in the Italian advanced education providing students with a range of quantitative approaches and methodologies to understand complexity in our economy and society. Students will be trained not only in statistics and econometrics, but also they will learn agent-based modelling, machine learning, advanced analytics to be applied in different contexts and problems.

Despina Fellows will be teaching some of major modules and contribute to a fruitful exchange both with the academic and professional world. In particular, our labs on Innovation, Consumption and Cities offer a hands-on approach to real case studies where major business partners have been be directly involved.

MADAS aims at training a data scientist able to deal with business problems and with a solid knowledge in economics and innovation.
